Never Known But Is the Knower Never Known But Is the Knower began as a lecture by French philosopher Michel Bitbol at the Institut für Raumexperimente, Berlin University of the Arts. The book brings together Bitbol's exploration of the blind spot in science with drawings by Olafur Eliasson—creating a physical manifestation of the concept itself.
I designed the book using French fold binding, where each page is folded and bound at the spine with Eliasson's drawings concealed inside the fold.

Printed on thin newsprint, the drawings ghost through the pages—present but not fully visible, embodying the lecture's central idea of what exists just beyond perception. As Olafur described it: "It is a book inside a book."
The form became the concept: content that reveals itself only through interaction, drawings that live in the blind spot until you open the page.
